Same as the fusleage bottom, there are a number of different size tubes in the fuselage top, so I have blocked everything up to their correct heights. I also have done the bends right in the jig.
The first picture shows the forward end of the fuselage top, and the square I'm using to ensure that the tube doesn't teist while I'm bending everything else.
The second picture shows ones of the bends. The big steel plate is the back riveting plate I used when building my RV-8. It takes a LOT of heat to get that puppy warm.
The last picture shows the fuselage top longerons ready for the cross members.
