Had a COMPLETE brain cramp and built a vertical member for the starboard side at station E/M. I was breezing along, fat, dumb, and happy using the drawing with the stations (sheet 18). I got the port side vertical member tacked in, and just tacked the bottom of the starboard side so I could fit the cross member in shown on the plans.
I was over looking at my plans making sure I used the right tube for the horizontal tube member (see picture 1) and turned around to visualize how it was going to fit when a though struck me: "Wait a minute, where do the cargo doors go?"
I had a sinking feeling and look at the plan sheet with the starboard side layout and sure enough, there is a BIG gaping hole where the cargo doors go (see picture 2).
Sigh... I have got to stop and think about everything a little longer. Unlike my RV-8 that I built, building from plans means that no one is holding your hand with a kit.
