Brief Description: R F/Tank: Fay sealed ribs in place
I'd read quite a bit about fay sealing the tanks as apposed to wet installing and rivetting the ribs and decided to use this technique for the right fuel tank. - What a pleasure!
Butter up the bottom of each of the ribs and the skin and 100% clecoed in place. Then did the same for the top of the ribs and 100% clecod the top from the leading edge backwards. Made a nice fillet and leave to dry. What a breeze - no mess!
