Brief Description: Rear Spars: 1 - Reinforcement fork and doublers
I clecoed the rear spar reinforcement fork (W-707G) and rear spar doubler plate (W-707D) to the rear spar and match drilled the holes to final size.
I was unable to countersink the holes that were right up against the flange on W-707F (as per DWG10A Detail) as the foot of the microstop countersink was too wide prohiiting access. I then ground down the one side the foot, rounded out any edges and then smoothed out all the scratches and polished it. It worked like a charm allowing easy access to the previosul unreachable holes.
I then removed the reinforcement fork and doubler plate so that I could countersink the holes on the rear spar flange that have restricted access once these two parts are rivetted in place.
I then deburred as needed and scuffed up the parts lightly in preperation for priming
W-707G reinforcement fork and W-707D doubler plate ready for match drilling
Microstop countersink edge ground down and smoothed to allow countersinking in close quarters
Rear spar countersunk in doubler fork area as access is limited once riveted in place.
