Brief Description: L-HS Tip: Remove and rebuild elev skin "joggle"
Using a rotary sanding drum on the dremel tool, I completely removed the little joggle that exists on the HS tip. I then masked off the HS with box tape as required to prevent resin sticking to the metal and clecoed the HS tip securely into position.
I mixed up a batch of flox and micro balloons (about70/30) and used a plastic card to "squeegee" the mixture into the join, ensuring that everything was suitably filled and covered. Left to cure.
