Aligned and clamped the forward part of the E-721 hinge to the left elevator skin and rear spar. Drilled the holes through the hinge ad marked the area to be trimmed off on the iboard edge. Removed the hinge, trimmed it appropriately and deburred as required.
Re-clecoed everything together again and checked the alignment of the trailing edge of the trim tab against that of the elevator - spot on! I drilled the holes on the inboard bends using the three guide holes on the top skin and the cleco'ed it up
That's it - a short stint in the shop but great to be back.
I can't continue now until I've had an inspection as any further action will close of rives making them impossible to inspect appropriately - need to phone my AP! ;)
