Brief Description:  R-Elev: Rivet understructure

Flush rivets used as per instruction to rivet the E709 (inboard rib) to E702 (Spar). This allows the control horn (WD605) to be rivetted to both parts over these flush rivets.

The counterbalance sub assembly was riveted to the spar as required. I also elected to rivet the counterbalance skin to the elevator skin in the two places as depicted in the photo below. This is still possible whilst one has access to these rivets and as such eliminates the need to use blind rivets in these positions at a later stage.

All I need to do on the right elevator now is close it up but cannot do that until it's been duly inspected and signed off. I'll carry on with the left elevator then and will only arrange for an inspection once both are ready for inspection. On to the left elevator then...
