Brief Description:  R-HS Tip: Test fit and make flox gusset inside

I was told that I could remove the extruded polystyrene quickly and easily be simply dissolving it with petrol and then "washing" it out with petrol and a paint brush. I'm not doing that again as it turns into a hunk of gooey slime that you cannot remove completely. I wouldn't've hassled much but I wanted to do more work on the inside and didn't want any residue of the foam left which ended up being substantial more effort than I'd planned for.

When it was clean, I quickly cleco'ed it the the HS for a test fit. It was soon apparent that I'd built it up a tad too much and would need to sand it down quit a bit. I thought it est to strengthen up the inside a bit first and give me something to "sand into" if I were to sand through the glass in places.

I decided that flox was the best thing and mixed up a failry wet flox mixture and made a flox gusset on the inside of the part along the entire radius where new work meets original part - it all went fairly quickly and am now waiting for it all to dry out.
