Just to stop the trim tab flopping around all the time, I fitted the trim tab servo to the mounting bracket. I then made sure that the push rod was screwed in to the clevices/tips as far as possible so that I could have a bit extra length later should I need it - measured the push rod and then cut it to size.
I then connected it all up, adjusting once to make sure that the trim tab is in the neutral position.
