Brief Description:  L-Elev: Countersinking, Dimpling, Bevelling and Tr

I countersunk all holes as requested, dimpled the rest and bevelled the inboard and leading edges of the E-713 counterbalance skin.

I then measured, marked and drilled relevant holes for the Trim servo mounting brackets. Completed the initial fabrication thereof then dissasembled, deburred and dimpled it all.

At this stage, I was ready to install the nutplates onto the trim servo double skin (E-615PP). I figured now was a good time to do it as it's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. What I ultmately discovered that I should have installed them prior to riveting the skin doubler to the left elevator skin as it would have been *much* simpler. I basically found that it was now nigh on impossible to dimple the larger "screw holes" on the doubler skin in preperation for the nutplates as the dimple die overlaps onto the elevator skin. Squeezing down on the dimple die marls the elevater skin and distorts the hole as a result. Countersinking of the rivet holes for the nutplates proved to be equally frustrating with the doubler rivetted to the elevator skin. I really didn't like the result and decided to stop for the day before I went any further backwards.
