Brief Description: R-Elev: Marking and Trimming stiffeners
Dang, but I really have slowed it down! :O
For those that don't know, there's method in my madness. I promised my wife that I would not purchase the wing kit until specific alterations had been done to the house. The primary reason for these alterations is to make an extra room available such that our daughters each have their own rooms. Somehow though, a new kitchen and bathroom were thrown into the mix ( but so was new workshop... errm... I mean garage! ;) ). The plans have been done, approved, etc. and we're now getting quotes.
I don't want to finish the Emp kit and then sit in frustration twiddling my thumbs until such time as I can finally order the next kit, so I'm deliberately taking my time and doing little bits at a time.
That being said, I started marking out and trimming all the stiffeners for the right elevator. Quick and easy really... no funnies having done it before on the rudder. It does seem the the left elevator will require a tad more "fabrication" when in comes to the stiffeners though!
