Whilst the inspection took substantilly longer than expected, it went extremely well and I was very happy with the comments and results. All the apropriate pieces were stamped accordingly and relevant stamps and comments were placed in my construction log.
I had previously not riveted the top rib to the spar as I wanted to leave the lead counter balance in for inspection and, without the skin in place, the top-rib to spar join is a tad on the flimsy side with the counterbalance in place. After the inspection though I removed the counterbalance weight and permanently riveted the top-rib to the spar.
I was hoping to be able to continue with the pro-seal to the trailing edge of the rudder stiffeners but the kitchen scale I have does not appear accurate enough in my opinion. I will rather hold off until I can buy a more accurate, digital scale to measure and mix the pro-seal correctly before I continue.
