I built the structure for the leading edge with ply ribs and dowel for the nose. Nylon zip ties worked nicely to clamp the dowel. The fuel line for the outer wing was routed through this area, and connected the inner and outer lines together near the engine cowling. The upper leading edge skin was scarfed to join the dowel and was clamped in place until the glue cured. The inside will be varnished before the lower skin is applied.
