Today I finished my 3rd bench, a slightly modified 2' x 6' bench that will be located along the garage wall and be used for drill press and band saw. Some of the wood used to build this bench was scavenged from an old bookcase I ripped up and is the dark brown color. There is something about using scavenged wood over new wood that appeals to me....I know, no cash flow involved!
I also began construction of my final standard 2' x 5' EAA bench that will be used in the center workspace. Not sure if I will need a seperate bench for dimpling, I'll wait and see how it goes. I've gotten fairly proficient at bench construction and can build one in less than an hour now that I have the hang of it. Makes me wonder how many RV's I'll end up bulding.......
Next step is to begin plumbing for air, as compressor will be located outside. Also need to start thinking about additional lighting in work areas.
