The flaps were re-installed IAW the manual, using the hardware called out. Travel was adjusted using the procedure called out in the instruction manual, which resulted in travel that was 1.5 degrees less than the minimum specification for 30 degrees. The measured travel was -3.0 to 28.5 degrees. After a discussion with Gus at Vans Aircraft it was decided that the 1.5 deg. limit delta was insignificant.
