Brief Description:  Continue Panel Wiring

Since the last entry we have completed the Vertical Power system wiring harness and all of the input and output power leads and switch lines. The next week we are going to focus on wiring all the switches and installing the coax pig tails. You can see in the first photo the Aux Bus fuse panel and respective reverse power diodes. These were needed for two reasons, the first is to prevent reverse flow of power, but more importantly the second is to drop the Aux bus voltage by .6 volts. The avionics that have aux bus input power pins select the power source with the highest voltage. This will always keep the aux bus voltage lower than the main by about .5 volts. The second image is the right side of the panel showing the GSU73 ADAHRS computer which drives the displays and collects the enigne and flight data. On the back sub-panel is the Auto-trim computer which will automatically move the trim tab for the autopilot. The third photo show the single point ground bus above the radio stack.
