This entry convers 3/7 and 3/8. We order the Skybolt VLOC 1/4 turn fastener kit for the firewall cowling attachment. Vans plans for the installation of piano hinge in this area. There have been reports of the lower hinge failing and difficulty in removing the cowl. 3/7 was spent dis-assembling the wheel pants and fairings and begining the layout of the fastener tabs. We only installed the upper cowl fasteners until the upper and lower cowl horizontal cut line has been determined.
