I fabricated a hinge cover which will be mounted to the fuselage side of the door hinge and will hide the attachment point and the outside hinge. 3 addition plates will be fabricated, countersunk screws will be utilized and the hing half will be drilled and tapped for 2 -#4 screws to hold the plate in place.
