Installed 2 layres of .125" Fibrefrax ceramic insulation on the floor of the foward tunnel under the sound absorbtion high density foam. In additional 2 layers were also installed on the firewall in the forward section of the tunnel. A 1500 degree burn test was performed on both materials simulating the method of attachment. The material held up for over 5 minutes before any smoke was observed. Then only minor smoking occured.
