I decided to incorporate a 90 degree female coupling into the fuel line system. The 90 degree Aeroquip fitting is attached where the fuel line normally exits the fuselage into the wing and attaches to the fuel tank outlet. Vans has you build this line and leave it unterminated hanging out of the fuselage until the wing is attached, at which time a male AN4 flare fitting is attached for interface to the fuel tank outlet. Using the 90 degree elbow will allow me to pressure test the lines using an adapter to the coupling. I added an "U" to the line to allow for expansion and contraction of the fuselage. It also will serve as a more elegant way to then attach the tank with a short hose when the wing is installed. (Reference entree 1/24/2011)
