Since we will be installing the Aerosport panel with the center console, we need a way to inspect and service the fuel filter and fuel pump hidden in the center tunnel. We fabricated a 6"X10" inspection plate and doubler utilizing .042 2024 T3, which is the same thickness as tunnel material. It was attached and riveted as shown in the below photos.
