Brief Description: Inspected all controls and taxied aircraft
Today we inspected the empennage attachment and control surfaces, along with the control surfaces on the wings and within the wings. We re-inspected the tunnel from the front seats foward for any leaks and to confirm all hardware was safetied and torqued appropriately. We are leaving the seat inspection plates off for the FAA inspection. We taxied the aircraft and observed a shudded around 20 kts. This test lasted 7 minutes. We then checked the airpressure in all wheels and brought the pressure up fro m 45 PSI to 50 PSI. In addition, we checked the tension on the nose belleville washers. It had loosened up with usage. We adjusted the tension to 25 lbs. We then taxied the aircraft and observed that the shudder had dissappeared. The second taxi was for 6 minutes, We were trying to keep the CHTs under 300 deg.
