I thas been awhile since I updated the log. In July, I was drilling the last hole on the canopy skirt and the dreaded canopy crack happened. I have been pretty bummed about it. With the summer heat and the depression of the crack, little happened for most of July and August. The canopy will have to be replaced. I have decided I cannot live with a repair.
I placed my avionics order with Stark Avionics. I went with a Garming 430W, SL30, 347 audio, and 327 transponder. For an EFIS, I went with the AFS-3500 combination. I also ordered and have started installing the Trutrak autopilot servos.
