Brief Description:  Wings are on for good, bolted

This is over the last several days.
Two steps forward, one back, two steps forward, one back
Drilled fairings, Removed wings, reinstalled wings, forgot to dimple fuselage fairings, removed wings, dimpled fairings, installed wings AGAIN.
Installed wing bolts.
Ran wiring through wings, check wiring, pitot and landing light is reversed. Pitot wire is too short to use as the landing light and vice versa. Decided to rool at the switch end. Problem with this plan is that I had to remove the center sectioncovers and pull some wire back. done.
While I had the covers off, I installed a new, 1/2 inch longer throttle cable. The thread engagement was not letting me sleep at nights. Done, reinstalled center covers.
Parking brake cable is on the wrong side of the throttle cable. Installing the cotter pin was such a PITA, I decided to remove the fuel pump cover and fuel selector plate to allow me to reverse. Done.

I rigged the ailerons. Guess what, not enough thread engagement on the left pushrod end bearings. I am right at 1/4 inch, but Van's want 3/8". I sure would hate for one of theses to come out in flight. Ordered new rod ends and tubes.

Two steps forward, one back. Net, we are moving forward. Painfully slow.

It is kind of fun to sit inthe cockpit and work the control and see everthing move the way it is supposed to. Of course I had to pull the EFIS and autopilot to get to all of the switches to flop the wires.

Two steps forward, one back.
