Brief Description:  I been doing some wiring

I have pretty much wired up the electrical end of the RV. I need to install the Stark harness for the avionics, but I first need to get a couple of wires added for the ARINC-429 interface.
It has worked out pretty good. I will replace the cable ties with lace cord, to make it look pretty, after I have completed everything (just before I rivet the forward skin).
I was going to put a Trutrak ADI in the left corner. I now have some reservations about using it for a backup turn coordinator. For now, I have installed a clock/volt meter/ Accelerometer.
It is pretty cool to turn things on and actually see them work. I still need to get the AP programmer head. this last item is keeping me from plumbing up the pitot/static system. I am regretting my decision to put the ELT switch where I did. I think it will interfere with the throttle/prop/mixture controls. If I have to move it, I will have to replace the subpanel strip. It is not expensive, just a pain to drill/paint/rivet a new one.
I did test the ELT install. It did not work. I got six beeps. The error code told me the g-switch jumper was not installed. I crawled back in the tail boom and sure enough, it was on the wrong pin. I had it on pin 15, it should have been on pin 5. Done, no error codes. Electronics! If it was so damn smart to know what the problem was, why didn't it fix it?

Hangar news: I visited Tri-county airport, near Bonifay, FL. I am number one on the list and they are building 5 as we speak. It will probably be this summer before they are ready. It is 20 miles further than Headland, but Headland does not have any hangars available. 36 miles altogether. It is not a bad drive.

I'll post more wiring pics in the next post.
