Brief Description: Cleco Free - Set the LAST rivet
Another big day. Larry arrived early to finish the canopy with me. Larry is quite the craftsman. Pulled, tweaked, shimmed and it is done. We riveted the front skin on. This means there are no more rivets to buck. I have a short list of things to do. None of them are hard (except for puttin in the canopy hing bolts) and I will be complete.
I finished the engine side of the baffle seals. I then put the cowling on. I cleaned up the hangar. I have started returning tools to the house that are no longer needed at the airport.
After all that, I drug the plane out of the hangar and fired up the engine. Pretty cool in the dark. I flooded the engine badly. I am still learning the knack for starting a fuel injected engine.
If I get a chance tomorrow, I am going to install the canopy bolts, then the interior.
