Brief Description:  Assembly of fuel tank end ribs(fitting and electri

Having previously set out all the parts for today's work I was able to start pre assembly to verify fit. The AN fittings were good, however the new amphibole coax connectors that are used for the fuel tank had a much larger base than the original coax connectors. I took a very small scotch bright wheel and removed enough material from the access plate doubler paying close attention not to gauge the rib. Once all parts fit well I then mixed enough sealant to put a dab in each rivet hole, using 426-AD-8 I set the rivet with a pneumatic squeezer. These four(two in each end rib) rivets set very nicely. I then capped the rivets with sealant. Next I assembled the AN fittings for the fuel lines, vent line, and return lines.

Unfortunately while trying to torque the AN nut I accidentally gauged the mating surface of one of the fittings by using a standard socket as opposed to a deep socket. As soon as I noticed the damage I removed the part. With the exception of the damaged right flop tube AN fitting the parts went together as expected.
