Brief Description:  Misc fuel tank prep work

I had a handfull of items to finish before I can start with the proseal, the left tank had a few items and there was a lot of work for the right tank. First task was to dimple the ribs for the right fuel tank. Next was to counter sink the holes around the fuel filler cap on both tanks, the last bit of coutnersinking before tank assembly. I used the blue masking tape again to keep the scratches to a minimum.

Another task was drilling the holes for the anti hangup brackets and the T-714 Vent line bracket that hangs off of the fuel filler neck. I've deviated from the plans in a minor way by attaching the bracket to one of the holes to the side as opposed to the forward most hole. It fit a lot cleaner and the bracket was a little more stable This may have been a result of the RV-14 style fuel cap. Either way this is a minor change and should have little impact.

I also built the fuel return line for the right tank. The snap bushings I have for the fuel line is a touch loose, I'll put a dab of proseal on it when I assemble to make sure it doesn't vibrate in the bushing.

I finished the fabrication and fit of the anti hangup brackets and rivetted the stiffener ring, brackets and nutplates onto both of the inboard most ribs as this doesn't call for proseal.

I then cut a few squares off of the trim bundle and covered the large holes in the rib that has the trap door. I figured if the door was there to keep fuel from moving out I shouldn't leave a large exit half way up the tank.
