Brief Description: Dimpling of the left leading edge skin
Erick came over tonight and helped me dimple the left leading edge skin. It was supposed to be both however upon examination of the right ribs I noticed that 4 of the ribs had been double drilled at the very end. I assume that since this was the wing I had in my garage before we moved that it was drilled, then when reassembled here the parts didn't line up exactly and they got mistakenly drilled again when it appeared the hole had been missed.
We removed the plasitc along the rivet lines, deburred the skins and then dimpled. It was the first time using the laser crossline to dimple, it made lining up the part for the dimple much easier.
I left the right skin undimpled so that I can match drill the replacement ribs that I'll be ordering.
