Brief Description:  Autopilot servo and wing skins

Today I spent the afternoon working on the autopilot servo bracket. I installed the bracket onto the spar and drilled the hole in the bell crank for the servo linkage and assembled the linkage it self. The rest will need to wait until I have the push rods assembled.

I then skinned the wing, I started by taking the skins out of storage, giving them a thorough inspection and creating the wingwalk doubler. The instructions were a little cryptic and didn't line up with what I saw in the drawing. I browsed around on VAF and found a post that explained it well. I took the sheet of raw AL and cut it to 26 inches, leaving it the 10" width. This fits perfectly and I have a strip that is ~1/2" wide and 26" long that is hanging over the inner most wing walk rib, Once that was cut I lined it up with the top skin and drilled the holes placing clecos as I went.

Once that was done I took all the top and bottom skins and clocoed them on. I had just enough time to drill the outer top skin before it was time to call it a day.
