I constructed my make shift break tonight and bent my rudder skin so that I can finish fitting the spar and ribs to the skin. I used a 6 foot 4x4 post that was flat and straight, my bench top, an 8 foot 2x4, and some door hinges to make the break. It can be clampled to my work surface when needed and removed when not used. The 4x4 gives it some good heft, I did end up putting some large C clamps on the post to use as handles. I followed the suggestions on VAF to put a dowel rod in the bend to prevent it from over bending. This worked well for 90% of the bend, the last 10% was done with the hand seemer(covered in duct tape) and very light pressure.
