Brief Description: Trimmed the elevator stiffeners
I wanted to get the elevators and stiffeners primed with this batch so that I would only need one more round of primer to finish the tail. I cut down all of the stiffeners into segments using the aviation sheers and then marked them out and set aside.
I took a break for a flight lesson(it was my birthday after and the weather in CO was clear and sunny) I enjoyed my first bit of sustained inverted flight in a super decathlon. My flight instructor and I did about about .5 of aero and I hit my limit and started feeling green. We headed back to LMO and after a few minutes of straight level I was feeling much better.
After the flight lesson I trimmed the stiffeners into the rough shape with the left, right, and all direction aviation sheers. Once they were done I broke all edges and took off any tool marks left by the sheers with the scotch bright pad on the grinder.
Finished Rudder stiffeners on the left, elevator on the right
