Brief Description: Comm and ADSB/Trans antenna routing
I plan to place the radios and transponder, and a few other items in the rear avionic bay to help with CG as well as make the space in the fwd avionics easy to work within. I emailed Garmin asking about my plans and the proximity to the pitch servo per the note in the install manual. They said it shouldn't be a problem running the antenna cables within 10 inches of the servo but they did warn me to not run them with any data lines.
I planned my routing and called Vans to check if my planned routing and the four holes I would drill caused a problem I hadn't considered. They said follow proper edge tolerance and build on.
I drilled holes for 375-4 snap bushings to keep the radio lines clear of the rudder cables as well as the other electical runs.
