Brief Description: painted fwd foot well of the interior
I painted the spar foward to the firewall. I started by masking off the firewall, paint there is a bad idea, and the spar. I cleaned it, scuffed the existing light coat of Sherwin Williams Primer with scorth bright, cleaned again. I layed down an even coat of the primer and per instructions top coated right away with light machine grey. This color was my favorite in tests, though very hard to find here in for some reason. The first coat of looks good. There are still some rivets to be set and it's bound to need some other touch up so I'll likely spot apply paint in a few key areas again.
