I didn't get any work done earlier this week as far as building goes as I attended my first EAA AirVenture. It was amazing, I got to sit in a fastback and a standard 8, talk to engine vendors, find some different tools and techniques. It was amazing!
This afternoon I removed the tanks from the spars and plugged the fuel bung for the future tip tanks. I used permitex high temp thread sealant, it was labeled as fuel safe, vibration and temp resistant. I had previously placed caps on all the AN fittings, so I removed the one on the fuel vent line and tried placing a balloon on it, this wasn't going to work with the large ballons i had. Plan B....
