With the help of Lisa we dimpled the remainder of the holes in the right side leading edge skin. I then drilled the four holes for the nutplates in the two most outboard ribs that will hold the light bracket from duckworks.
I then wheeled the whole pile of work out to the shop porch and primered the skin and the ribs.
While they were drying I set to work on the W-819 push rods. I had previously cut them to the correct length and given them a single coat of primer. Using a piece of string with 5/8inch markings I marked the 6 holes on each end. I then slid the ends into the tubes and while lisa held the tube level I drilled the first hole in each end and placed a MSP-42 blind rivet in the hole to prevent the end piece from rotating.
Once all the holes were drilled I then installed the remaining MSP-42's and gave them another coat of primer.
