Brief Description:  Redimple the left tank skin and start rib sealing

After much difficulty with the stiffeners, debate, and research I decided to use the Fuel tank dimple dies. As luck would have it the great people at Cleveland Aircraft tools had a contest to show them your shop. I won and they sent me a T-shirt and some fuiel tank dimple dies.

The only problem is that I had already riveted the stiffenres on and now one person dimpling of the skin was all but impossible. Luckily Lisa was nice enough to help me. With her help it only took about 35 minutes to redimple the skins. There were a few places, esp between the stiffenres that took some extra care, dies swapping(top and bottom), etc. In the end it all worked out.

Next up was the reclean everything since we had our hands all over the parts. I wheeled my mobile work table outside and wiped everything down with MEK. I then proceeded to mix up a batch of proseal and set the ribs in place.

I used the left over portion of sealant to cap the stiffener rivets.
