Brief Description:  proseal for end ribs

Today was my first deep dive with proseal. IT WAS A GIANT PAIN IN THE A$$ I'll be exploring other methods. Perhaps like this one: http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=7602

I assembled and prosealed all the parts that rivet to the end ribs including the future tip tank expansion bung and the flop tube anirotaion bracket and a small plate to plug the tooling hole.

I ran out of proseal, working time, and good weather all at once. even though I still needed to cover the rivet heads with proseal I could see a wall of rain forming behind me and rather than mix up more proseal i started cleaning up. I got my parts in the garage and the door closed about 2minuntes before a giant gust front slamned the house. If my parts had still been outside they would have had thier first flight earlier than planned...and missing the rest of the aircraft.

I even had my camera setup to take timelapse, but the memory card was full and I didn't discover that unitl the end. The pictures are after the fact, given the troubles I had that may not be such a bad thing.

I'll need to encapsulate the rivet heads the next working session.

The work was done on my rolling bench outside the shop door to keep the fumes down in the house. Future work will take place there as well, that part of the setup was fine. I have ordered some syringes to dispense the proseal, that will hopefully help with the mess.
