Brief Description: Flop tube anti rotation and anti hangup brackets
I built the anti rotation bracket for the two flop tubes as well as the anti hangup brackets for both tanks. For the anti rotation bracket I uses the T-715 and cut it open to make it a U shape. Once done I broke the edges and filed it down so that the red anodyzed portion of the flop tube would slide through but not spin. This will allow me to rivet the bracket on and still be able to service the part in the future.
For the anti hangup bracket I needed to make 2. The flop tube did not reach the small trap door, but it could get hung up on the return fuel line that I added. I put one of the brackets across the access panel and another across the top of the tank from rib to rib. I clecod the tank well enough to spin it around and verify that the flop tube isn't getting hung up.
One additional thing I did to make sure the flop tube wouldn't hang up was to invert the stiffener so that upward facing portion of the L was towards the leading edge, all the others are towards the aft.
