Brief Description: T-410 for outboard rib and baffle line counter sin
I fabricated the outboard T-410 stiffeners. This was very simple, I used one of the inboard T-410's as a template for the rivet holes. After staking and match drilling I then placed the T-410's onto the Ribs, aligned per drawings and match drilled to the rib.
I then had three of the 4 baffle rivet lines on the tank skins to counter sink. After trying many techniques to try and stop the CS scratching that happened on the first line I found an answer. I put a piece of blue painter tape along the rivet line, used a pen to breka each hole open and then adjusted the counter sink tool to compensate for the added thickness.
The results speak for themselves. Almost no ancillary scratching.
