Brief Description: Fuel tank work, leading edge bracket
Today I fabricated the bracket that hold the leading edge of the fuel tank and wing to the fuselage. I started from a large piece of angle stock. I created a paper template of the inside of the rib, After I cut the angle to the correct length I transfered the template to the angle along with the R1(radius circle) to the angle.
I then used the bandsaw to remove the majority of the material and used the scotchbrite pad to get to the final shape.
