Brief Description: First look at T-00007 Fuel Cap for RV8
I got the T-00007 Fuel Caps in the mail today. I test fitted it to see if it they were usable.
Background: I decided to order new fuel caps since the ones that I got with the kit were VERY hard to open and there have been reports of them leaking, leaving blue streaks down the wings. I decided not to go for locking caps. I figure if someone really wants the gas, I would rather they siphon the gas than punch a hole in the tank.
The rivet holes align perfectly, but the hole will need to be enlarged. I started a thread on VAF to ask how best to accomplish this.
