I ended up with a long dealy from installing hardwood floors in our house. I had to take my airplane shop apart and turn into a wood shop for a week or two. I should have covered the parts better, it took me 3 more days to get most of the sawdust cleaned up.
I put the metal brake onto my work bench and closed up the left elevator most of the way. I made sure to put a dowel rob in the bend to keep it from becoming a fold. I then used the hand seamer(with some duct tape on it to keep from scratchign the suraface) and started on one end moving 1/2 the width of the seamer and squezzing it closed little by little. After 3-4 times back and forth across it is done.
The quality of the picts is off, I had to use my cell phone camera my nice camera is on loan.
