Brief Description:  Completed HS and drilled VS

I drilled the VS, dissasembled, broke all edges, and bedurred. It is ready to be dimpled/countersunk, I can do the spars and ribs myself but i will need to wait until I get help to dimple the VS skin.

Next I riveted the rear spar onto the HS, i used the pnuematic squeezer and despite the same setup from last time I still needed to adjust the set to get the proper squeeze on the rivet. There is still one rivet to complete, this is the one that needs to have some superfill or epoxy. I left myself a note on the plastic next to the hole.

I hung the HS on the newly mounted rack abouve the work space, now the bench is clear to dimple the VS.

I have aslo decided to take all the other work to a primable point so that I can stretch out my priming timeline to nicer weather and also to prime as few times as possible. Priming wasn't horrible but I don't want to setup and take down my make shift paint booth and expose myself to the chemicals anymore than needed.

PS

Lisa was really nice last Friday after the tech inspection, she suggested we pop some champaign :D I reminded her that the Gnarly Goat Head(our homebrewed scotch ale) hadn't been tapped yet and we toasted with beer.
