Brief Description: Replacement VS-1003 and (1) VS-1014
Replacement VS-1003 and (1) VS-1014 came today via Fedex. Cut the new VS-1014 to size and deburred both items. This time used the drill press to drill the match drilled holes in the VS-1003 web. Results were much better. Did not drill the flanges yet. Cut a larger block to fit below the flanges and a second smaller block to sit inside the flanges. The smaller block must be taller than the flanges are so that the spar will sit resting the aluminum doublers on the smaller wood block.
Cut a few different size wood blocks to put inside the flanges of the spar.
