Met with Jeff the local DAR. After a thorough inspection and an engine run, in the end he said it was beautiful - a very nice plane. 2 hours and a lot of paperwork later and I now have the pink slip that says it's a real plane - AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATE. Now to plan my flight tests per AC 90-89A. I will do more ground run-ups of the engine and carefully lean it out - still running too rich. Want to make sure the engine is nice and responsive to the throttle and no smoke out of the exhaust before the first flight. Then get the cowling on, then 1st flight. :-)
