I have large hands so I wasn't looking forward to doing the LG boxes. So much so I called Vans to ask if I could use CherryMax rivets instead. I spoke to Ken, he didn't say no, but said that it hadn't been tested. I thought about it long and hard, and decided in the end to persevere with solid rivets.
After much skinning of knuckles and a little blood, I finally managed to finsh the right side, except for the rivets that go right into the bottom corners, where some have used CherryMax. I also will use CheryMax in those locations, as well as the top longerons/LG box joints as others have again used CherryMax rivets there.
