Brief Description:  Joining the fwd and mid fuselage assemblies

Today, I fitted the rear rudder pedal linkage mounts that bolt to the lower rear angle of the landing gear boxes. I measured the distance between the bolt holes (centre to centre) in the LG boxes and then measured the heights of the two bolt holes from the LG box angle inner vertex. I then measured the distance of the inner vertex to the centre of the hole nearer the aircraft centre line. You need to do this because the inner bolthole is slightly lower than the outer, and this needs to be taken into account.

After doing that I clecoed the fwd and mid fuse assemblies together taking note of how the various floor sections are sandwiched for riveting.

I deburred the puched openings in the two front side skins, but will leave the edging till drilling the rivet holes to full size I clecoed both skins to the fwd fuselage, and they and the fuselage needed a little gentle persuasion to clecoe properly.

I clecoed in the F-870E-1 and B-1 stiffeners to th inside of teh front skins. I also clecoed the F-864C-1 and F-820L-1 angles to their respective skins. And lastly, the F-865B-1 angle was also clecoed to it's skin.
