Brief Description:  Fwd fuselage structure

Today, I started on the Fwd fuselage structure. I curved the two 804H-1-1 centre section side plates, to the top 4 1/2 inches of their length, creating a left and right handed plate. I then clecoed them to the centre section fwd and aft bulkheads.

I did the same a gentle curve on both 802D-1 landing gear box plates, again making a right and left handed plate, I then clecoed them to their repsective landing gear boxes.

I seperated the two 848-1 upper longeron gussetts, bending them to follow the curve of the inside of their respective 804 centre section fwd bulkheads, so again one was left hand the other right. These were also radiused so that they sat properly in the angle of their centre section fwd bulkheads.

I also seperated the four F-8456 peices. These were also radiused so they fitted the angle of the centre section fwd bulkheads properly.

I then deburred and edged the gussetts and the four 8456 quadrants.
