Brief Description:  Centre section/seat rib sub assembly.

Today I machine countersunk the rivet holes for the nutplates. I took the centre section apart and deburred all drilled holes. I then riveted the nutplates into place except the two that are left open for the cabin braces.

I re assembled the two halves using the wooden blocks and 1/4" bolts. I fitted the fwd control mount and the seat belt attach lugs along with it's spacers. I then torqued all bolts. I riveted the fwd flange of the two halves of the centre section and then installed all bushings.

I moved on to the seat rib assembly. I made the two spacers 806E's and clecoed the 806 C1 and D1 rear spar attach bars to the spar attach rear bulkhead. I attached the 806G1 seat belt attach lugs and the 806FL 1 and R 1 gussets to the bulkhead as well making sure they 'leaned' forward as per the plans.

I drilled all 1/8th holes common with these clecoed parts to full size #30. I then enlarged the outermost holes on this assembly to #12 as per the manual.
